Solway Serenade (Commission)

This commission was created to honour my customer’s cherished childhood memories spent on the beach overlooking Criffel.  He wanted a piece that would capture the essence of those carefree days — the laughter, the adventure, and the simple joy of playing on the sand with friends as the evening sun dipped low on the horizon.

This evocative sunset painting recreates that sense of nostalgia and peace. Warm tones fill the sky as the last light of the day settles gently over the shoreline. The calm water echoing the stillness that arrives after hours of childhood play.
