Sunset on the Solway SOLD

This piece was created from a photograph that I took down on the shore, along the West Cumbrian coast.  The sunsets here are magical and I can't resist an opportunity to photography yet another sunset.  The West Cumbrian shoreline is where I get my inspiration from and it brings back fond memories of evenings watching the sun go down with my parents, when I was a child.  I never wanted those evenings to end.  I was enthralled by the beautiful colours of the night sky and the way the light bounced off the sea.  Not to mention watching each wave that gently rolled onto the shingle beach. 

I can simply watch the waves for hours and the calm tranquil feelings I get when listening to the sound of the sea, is just magical.
